Wonder? Woman

Here she is, David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman of the 21st century.  Judge for yourselves . . .

Adrianne Palicki, Kelley's Wonder Woman
The above photo was released in Entertainment Weekly; and, to allow a fair comparison, @rudechrub over at io9 was nice enough to provide this:

Palicki vs. the original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter

My eyes aren't bleeding yet, but I am cringing.  I'll wait to issue a final verdict until I view the first episode; but, that this HD picture makes Wonder Woman, and Palicki, look like ditzy sorority girls on Halloween, doesn't encourage me.  Rather, it futher cements my fears that Kelley is making Wonder Woman, and Diana Prince, in the mold of Ally McBeal.  Nothing against McBeal, but she was annoying and far from ideal - which Woman Woman is supposed to be.  When I think Wonder Woman, I'm thinking more Number Six without the killing and manipulation.  She didn't need to say anything, her gravitas spoke for her.

Fingers crossed that the goddesses guide him in the correct direction.
