Back Log: !!!MOOOOOORTAAAAL KOOOMMMBAAAAAT!!!

I just finished watching the first installment of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy webisode series.  Is it gritty? Yes.  Realistically footed in the real world?  Thus far.  Is it good?

Watch it yourself after the jump . . .

I was entertained.

With only 12 minutes to judge the series by, I am not going to dismiss it, or loudly proclaim affection for it just yet; but, I will say that I'll be watching it in it's entirety so I can make an informed rating about it.

Additionally: One thing I am happy about is that the actors chosen to play the characters are adults.  I know there are some talented 20-somethings out there who could probably play these roles; but, I like my protagonists to have the authority of life in them - without looking like they are trying to sell it.  If it fits the character, go ahead, but if these webisodes are trying to do what they proclaim, and stay grounded in reality, then older is the way to go for most of these characters.  Plus, as a fangirl,  I enjoy seeing a recognizable, talented, sci-fi actors in a work of a related genre.
